Ground Beef or Lamb Skewers (Kabob)
Serves 2 to 3
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 10 minutes
1 lb (500 g) semi-lean ground lamb or beef
1 small onion, grated (with juices)
1/3 cup minced fresh parsley leaves
2 teaspoons Hashems Shish Kafta Spice
1 teaspoon salt
1. Use your hands to combine all ingredients in a large bowl.
2. Fill a small bowl with water for wetting your hands to help prevent them from sticking to the meat.
3. Wet your hands and roll a small handful of the meat mixture into a ball (about the size of an egg), then slide it onto a metal skewer. Flatten the ball so the meat spreads out on the skewer, and repeat this process until all the meat is skewered.
4. Grill until fully cooked, about 8 to 10 minutes, flipping once halfway through.
