No holiday would be the same without these delicious Middle Eastern pistachio filled pastries called Maamoul. In Lebanon Christians eat them during Easter and Muslims during and after Ramadan. Jews also consume them during Hanukkah. They are very time consuming and take approximately 3 hours to make. They are shaped using special wooden molds. These shortbread pastries are stuffed with delicious pistachios, then dusted with powdered sugar. Enjoy them during the holidays or anytime of the year.
