Grape Seed Oil
Grape seed oil is a popular cold-pressed seed oil that has a 6000 year history of use for its health and beauty properties. It is a healthy oil for culinary use, to take internally as a supplement, and to use topically on the skin and hair.
Grape seed oil is a wonderful source of anti-oxidants called flavonoids and procyanidins which give it anti-aging, anti-cancer, anti-inflammatory and heart protective properties. It is also rich in nutrients like vitamin C, D, and E and omega 3 and 6 fatty acids.
This hydrating anti-oxidant oil can be used to prevent and heal dry skin, eczema, dermatitis, sun damage, wrinkles and stretch marks. It is also an effective oil to repair, strengthen and condition hair, as well as treat dry scalp and dandruff.
Directions for use
Grape seed oil can be consumed internally by adding it to food or and by taking 1 teaspoon per day as a health supplement.
To use as a moisturizer and skin treatment, pour a small amount of oil into your hands or onto a cotton ball and massage it onto the skin until absorbed. Apply some oil under the eyes to treat dark circles.
For stronger, healthier and shinier hair, apply a generous amount of oil to your hands and thoroughly massage it into the hair and scalp. Leave it in for 15-20 minutes before washing with shampoo.
Use grape seed oil as a massage oil that is light and easily absorbed by the skin.
